Before joining Spigulis & Kukainis, Ruta for several years gained experience working in the public sector, specialising in competition law. During that period, Ruta gained experience in dealing with various competition law issues, as well as in administrative and judicial proceedings. Ruta gained practical experience in the Directorate-General for Competition of the European Commission, providing assistance in the investigation of infringements of competition law.
Ruta is primarily involved in competition law cases, conducting a theoretical study of various legal issues, preparing legal opinions and drafts of legal documents, as well as conducting legal study of the legal framework.
