Prior to joining Spīgulis & Kukainis, Ieva worked for several years at Riga City Court as an assistant judge, gaining experience in the application of regulatory law in various categories of civil matters, including insurance and commercial law, insolvency proceedings. Ieva has also gained experience at the Ministry of Justice as a lawyer working on commercial law issues, providing legal opinions on public participation in a capital company and various draft legislation.
Ieva specialises mainly in civil matters - law of obligations and cases, family law, commercial law, employment law, insolvency proceedings, as well as general administrative law and administrative procedure matters.
