Experience

From September 2007 till April 2012 Elina worked at the Administrative Court of Appeals as a judge’s assistant. During this time period, Elina gained substantial experience regarding administrative process in court by solving different procedural issues, as well as experience in legal document drafting and thorough knowledge of competition law, asylum-related issues and tax law.

Elina joined Spigulis & Kukainis team in April 2012 and specializes in administrative law and fields related to public procurement, environmental law and competition law. Elina is doing a theoretical legal research on various legal issues and also prepares theoretical legal opinions, as well as drafts of legal documents. Elina is also involved in research and solving of issues related to personal data protection, carrying out company audits on data protection, drafting of assessment for conformity of processing of personal data to the requirements of laws, prepares procedure documents and suggestions to ensure conformity of companies to the legislation on data protection. Elina also provides personal data protection officer services to the companies.
